Ingredients for Yakhni:
Chicken 1kg
Garlic 5 cloves
Aniseed 1 tabs
Garam masala (mix) 2 tabs
Ginger 1medium size piece
Salt 3 tabs
Ingredients for Pulao:
Oil (ghee) ½ bowl
Onion 2 medium size
Chopped green chili 2 tabs
Tomato 2 medium size
Black pepper 1 teaspoon
Garam masala 1teaspoon
Safaid zeera 1 tabs
Method:
Yakhni:
In 6 glass of water add chicken, and garlic, Aniseed, Garam masala, Ginger (cover all above ingredients in malmal cloth properly and put into the water. Also add 3 tabs salt in to water and let the chicken cook for 20 minutes. After that take out the chicken and drain, so the chicken will be separated from yakhni.
Pulao:
In big pan add ghee to brown onion, when onions brown add boiled chicken. Let the chicken cook for 5 minutes and add green chili, tomato, salt, black pepper, safaid zeera and gram masala. Fry these ingredients for 1 to 2 minutes and add 1 cup off yakhni, then cook chicken in yakhni for almost 10 minutes. After 10 mntues add yakhni in pan and cook until water in the pan bubbling. When yakhni has started to boil add rice and give a dum at very low flame for 5 to 7 minutes. The yakhni pulao is ready with incredible taste, serve with raita and salad.
