
Dahi Baray is a traditional recipe that can provide you with the real taste of Pakistani snacks. If you want to feed your kids with something healthy during a weekend then there is no other dish as healthy as dahi bhallay. Loaded with the creamy yoghurt, this dish is extremely rich in calcium, vitamin C, D and E.
Ingredients
The ingredients that you are going to need for this dish are:
- Yoghurt……………………………………..three cups
- Boiled potatoes………………………….two to three (chopped into small pieces)
- Bhalley (chickpea balls)……………..one pack
- Chat masala……………………………….one teaspoon
- Salt……………………………………………half teaspoon
- Black salt (kala namak)………………one tablespoon
- Onion……………………………………….one to two small sized (sliced)
- Tomatoes…………………………………two small sized (chopped)
- Fresh coriander………………………..half bowl (chopped)
- Green chillies…………………………..two (chopped)
- Salad leaves…………………………….half bowl (chopped)
Method
- Take a large sized bowl.
- Pour yoghurt in it.
- Add potatoes, bhalley, vegetables and spices in it.
- Mix all the items with the help of a spoon.
- Garnish with salad leaves.
Serve when chilled.
