Ingredients

The ingredients that you are going to need for this recipe are:

  • Chinese Carrots……………………………………. 4 to 5 carrots (cut into thin slices)
  • Sugar……………………………………………………one tablespoon
  • Cardamom……………………………………………half teaspoon
  • Kishmish………………………………………………one bowl
  • Almonds……………………………………………….one bowl
  • Desi Ghee……………………………………………..four tablespoon
  • Onion…………………………………………………..one (sliced)
  • Chicken or beef……………………………………..one KG
  • Ginger/garlic paste………………………………..one tablespoon
  • Black pepper………………………………………….ten pieces
  • Bari elaichi……………………………………………..three pieces
  • Choti elaichi…………………………………………..three pieces
  • White zeera…………………………………………..two tablespoons
  • Salt………………………………………………………four teaspoons
  • Water…………………………………………………..according to the quantity of rice (one and a half glass per one glass of rice)
  • Rice……………………………………………………..one KG
  • Cooking oil……………………………………………two tablespoons

Method

  • Take a cooking pan, heat the oil in it and add carrots in this cooking pan.
  • Add sugar, cardamom, Kishmish, and almonds in the carrots.
  • Fry this mixture for a few minutes and then put it on the side.
  • Take a daigchi and add desi ghee in it.
  • Heat the desi ghee and then add onions in it.
  • Fry the onions, turn them into golden brown and then add chicken in it.
  • Fry the chicken for a while and then add ginger/garlic paste in it.
  • Add black pepper, bari elaichi, choti elaichi and white zeera in it.
  • Add salt in the mixture and then stir this mixture for a while.
  • Add water in the chicken, bring the water to boil and then add the rice in this water.
  • Let the water dry. Put the rice on steam for ten to fifteen minutes.
