Chicken Biryani Recipe In Urdu

Here is an amazing chicken biryani recipe in urdu. Biryani has always remained the most favorite dish of Pakistanis and Indians. But making this dish is not an easy task. You have to remain very alert or you could end up making some serious mistakes. If you have been craving for some yummy homemade biryani then here is an easy recipe to make it.

Ingredients

The ingredients that you are going to need for biryani are:

Chicken Marination

  • Chicken………………………………………one kg
  • Yoghurt………………………………………one cup
  • Milk…………………………………………..one cup
  • Tanduri masala…………………………..one packet
  • Ginger/garlic powder…………………..one teaspoon
  • White zeera (grounded)……………….one tablespoon
  • White cumin powder……………………one teaspoon
  • Sookha dhania powder…………………one tablespoon
  • Salt…………………………………………….one teaspoon or as desired
NOTE: Marinate the chicken in the mixture of these ingredients for almost five hours.

Steam Chicken Recipe

Biryani Ingredients

  • Basmati rice……………………………………………two glass
  • Yellow food color…………………………………..one-fourth teaspoon
  • Tomato and onion paste……………………… take three tomatoes and one onion, peel them and cut into small pieces. Create a paste by blending them in the blender.
  • Biryani masala……………………………………..one packet

Method

  •  First marinate the chicken for five hours and then put it into the pan to steam it.
  • Clean the rice, wash them and then sink them in water for half an hour.
  • Add water into the marinated chicken and then cover the pan.
  • Let it cook until the water dries up.
  • Take a separate pan, heat cooking oil in it and then add tomato and onion paste in it.
  • Add biryani masala in it and then fry this paste for a few minutes until it gets dark in color.
  • Boil the rice but keep the rice 25% hard.
  • When the tomato and onion paste leaves oil, drop half of the boiled rice in the pan, above the paste.
  • Add steamed chicken masala and then add remaining rice.
  • Mix food color in one tablespoon water and sprinkle on the top.
  • Put the rice on steam for 15 to 20 minutes.

Serve hot, steaming biryani with salad and dahi ka raita.
