Shawarma is one of the yummiest food items on the earth. Originating from Turkey, this dish is basically prepared from camel’s meat. Without white sauce, the taste of this dish is considered incomplete. Here is a simple and easy-to-follow recipe of white sauce.

Ingredients

The ingredients that you are going to need for white sauce are:

  • Cooking oil………………………………………two tablespoon
  • Butter……………………………………………..one tablespoon
  • Refined flour (maida)……………………….one bowl
  • Milk………………………………………………..one glass
  • Salt…………………………………………………one teaspoon
  • Red Chili Flakes…………………………….one teaspoon
  • Cream………………………………………….half cup

Method

  • Heat the cooking oil in the frying pan.
  • Add butter and let it melt.
  • Add maida and blend it well with the cooking oil and butter.
  • Pour milk gradually into the pan. Keep on stirring with the spoon while pouring milk.
  • Blend with beater so milk and maida blend properly with each other.
  • Add salt, red chili flakes and stir further with the beater.
  • Add cream in the mixture and blend again with the beater.
  • Let the mixture cook for five to six minutes and then take it off the stove.
