Not long ago we uploaded a recipe where we prepared Chicken Malai Boti using a grill pan.  If you are a staunch chicken malai boti lover but don’t possess a grill pan then this simple recipe is just for you.

Ingredients

You are going to need the following ingredients for this recipe:

  • Cooking Oil……………………………three tablespoon
  • Butter……………………………………one tablespoon
  • Ginger/garlic paste………………..one teaspoon
  • Boneless chicken…………………..250gm
  • Red Chili Flakes……………………half teaspoon
  • Black Pepper………………………..half teaspoon
  • Salt…………………………………….half teaspoon
  • Water…………………………………one glass
  • Corn flour…………………………..two tablespoons + one tablespoon
  • Cream………………………………two tablespoon

Method

  • Heat oil in the cooking pan.
  • Add butter and let it melt.
  • Add ginger/garlic paste, let it fry for a bit and then add chicken.
  • Fry the chicken for a few minutes and then add red chili flakes.
  • Add black pepper and salt.
  • Add water and let it cook for a few minutes.
  • Add two tablespoon corn flour and let it cook for few seconds.
  • If the gravy is still very thin then add one more spoon of corn flour and stir the gravy.
  • Let it simmer until it becomes a little thick.
  • Add cream in the gravy.
  • Stir the gravy and let it cook for four to five minutes.

Chicken malai boti gravy is ready, serve it with vegetable fried rice or eat with hot naan.
